Two women who became mothers not so long ago became the founders of this trend, but wished to remain anonymous. The idea of creating an account called Love Your Lines came to them after their bodies underwent not the most pleasant changes after the birth of their children. They encourage women to share photos of their stretch marks acquired for the same or some other reason, instilling confidence in women and saying that they are not alone.
This account instantly gained popularity among American women and currently has 64,000 subscribers.
Women of all shapes, sizes and ages post their photos showing stretch marks obtained as a result of having children or as a result of rapid growth and weight gain.
Many women do not show their face and prefer to remain incognito, others, on the contrary, willingly show their face and are proud to have given birth to children.
Mothers who underwent Cesarean section surgery also submitted their photos with captions to explain what their stretch marks mean to them.
