Know our people! Cool historical reconstruction in the center of Moscow

From June 9 to 19, the historical and gastronomic festival "Our Product" is taking place in Moscow - perhaps one of the brightest events of this summer for everyone who loves the history, culture and cuisine of our country. These days, at 33 festival venues, you can taste real medieval dishes — fish crackers, lard, sweet and salty turnips, learn to cook according to old recipes, master traditional Russian crafts and learn a lot of new and interesting things about the everyday history of the early Middle Ages. Tverskoy Boulevard turned into a pier for the duration of the festival, where dugout boats and even a real ten-meter rook were moored.

On the site you can try traditional Russian dishes and learn how to make fishing gear.

And also to purchase author's unique goods from different regions of Russia.

On Tverskaya Square, they will tell you about the process of making bread and even teach you how to grind grain in an ancient way — on stone millstones.

Free workshops on patchwork, beadwork and weaving are held daily in Kamergersky Lane.

And a whole medieval city unfolded on Revolution Square and Manezhnaya Square.

Here you can see the battle of the heroes and listen to the performances of folk art groups.

Meet a real blacksmith at work. And learn his skills.

Learn Ancient Russian writing and calligraphy for free, visit an exhibition of dishes of Ancient Russia and even sit and take pictures on a fabulous throne.

Well, for those who managed to get hungry, the "Meat Row" site is located very close, where meat products from the best farmers of Russia are collected. You can cook something on the spot or buy something at home.
