In some cases, it leads to the elimination of this not too important, but noticeable "accessory". The second case is gastroschisis, a congenital disease in which an infant is born with a cleft in the abdominal cavity. After surgical reconstruction, the navel may also disappear forever.

No one knows why Karolina Kurkova doesn't have a navel. The model herself prefers not to discuss this topic. At one time, there were even rumors that the navel actually exists, but it is hidden under a special makeup to give the girl an exotic look.
