Yes, that's right, because it's unlikely that you've ever seen photos of an American woman in a bikini on a surfboard exploring the catacombs of Paris full of skeletons. Alison Teal, a 30-year—old resident of Hawaii, is a downright female version of the famous fictional researcher Indiana Jones.

Fearless Alison Teal descended with her pink surfboard 150 meters below ground level to explore the Paris catacombs, where about 6 million skeletons have found peace. Yes, this is exactly the case, your eyes do not deceive you: at the end of the XVIII century in Paris there was a problem with the "overpopulation" of cemeteries, so the city authorities decided to move part of the burials underground.
Expanding the boundaries: the charming explorer passed through narrow tunnels in just a bikini. Of course, this did not last all the time of her unusual mission.
"I grew up on my father's stories. On Halloween, he was constantly baiting stories about the catacombs," said Alison, who, among other things, is also a film director.
"At first, the team and I were making our way through a secret passage. Everything that was happening seemed to be in the style of James Bond films. The passage became narrower and narrower, and in the end we had to move on all fours. There was a minimum of oxygen and visibility was very limited," recalls Alison.
"We took a lot of amazing pictures, and then we were horrified to find that the water level began to rise. We no longer had the opportunity to go back the same way."
"As a result, we all had to swim out, and the air came only from a small hole in the ceiling of the cave. It was pretty creepy. I had to stop filming, because it was already about staying alive," Alison said.
Lighting her way with a lantern fixed on her head, Alison made her way through the catacombs over piles of bones.
This is not the first crazy idea to go on a dangerous journey that came to Alison's mind. Having grown up in the family of a wildlife photographer, she traveled with her family through 40 countries and did not attend school until the third grade, studying remotely.
It is believed that Alison became the first person in the world to explore the Paris catacombs riding a surfboard.
That's how you sit down to rest, and there are piles of bones around you. Creepy, isn't it?
