Photographer spent eight years in the way and traveled to more than 80 countries. To create a collection of amazing portraits of people from the most remote corners of the planet, "the World in faces" (The World In Faces), it took him nearly two years.
The result is a series of striking images of men, women and children in fanciful ornaments and traditional costumes, practicing ancient customs. In one of the photos — old Kyrgyz living in the mountains of the Tajik Pamirs, on the other — a woman from the Ethiopian tribe Hamer, the skin of which are painted with red ochre, and on a neck hang shells. "In most villages people live just as many centuries ago, in clay huts, without electricity or any other amenities," explains the photographer. Khimushin has set itself the goal with this project is to show the diversity of the world, and it seems he succeeded.
