In the new Netflix project, Jason Momoa will get a cute daughter. Who is this lucky girl?

Aquaman star Jason Momoa is preparing to shoot in the exclusive project of the Netflix channel movie Sweet Girl ("Sweet Girl"). In the film, which will become a revenge thriller, the long-haired giant's partner will be  Isabela Merced, whom the audience knows from the role of Dora the Traveler in the 2019 film. The 18-year-old actress will play the daughter of the hero Jason, whom he will have to courageously defend.

According to the plot of the film, the hero of Jason Momoa is a man whose wife was killed by villains. He is consumed by a thirst for revenge, as well as fear for the safety of his only daughter, played by Merced. The actress and singer, who recently changed her name to Merced, began her career on the Nickelodeon children's channel, starring in projects for young viewers.

Isabela's father, Patrick Moner, is from Louisiana, USA, and her mother, Catherine, is from Lima, the capital of Peru. The actress was born on July 10, 2001 in Cleveland, Ohio, but when asked by journalists whether she considers herself an American, Isabela replies that she feels like a Peruvian.

Already at the age of 10, Isabela debuted in the Broadway musical "Evita". The young singer's partner was Ricky Martin himself, and sang a duet in Spanish. In 2013, the girl starred in her first serious movie, The House that Jack Built.

In 2014, Isabela was invited to play the role of Jenny in the movie "A Guide to Family Life", and in 2015 the audience saw her in "Splitting Adam". In addition, from 2014 to 2016, the young actress starred in the children's TV series "100 steps: Make it to high school."
