This is the very place that is a direct reflection of their inner world. A place where you can be yourself. Photographer Adrienne Salinger was so absorbed by this idea that she decided to create a special project, which soon resulted in the book "In my Bedroom: Teenagers In Their Bedroom".
Salinger managed to capture and interview an entire generation in natural conditions. The heroes of the book were 43 teenagers, each of whom was different both externally and internally. Punks, goths, skaters, cheerleaders, diligent students. Who is not there. For her project, the photographer was looking for heroes in shops, cafes and among acquaintances. She specifically asked them not to clean their rooms so that they would look as natural as possible.
For the first time, the photo album "In my Bedroom" was published in 1995, and Adrienne began work on the photo project back in the 1980s.
