38-year-old Kate Scottow was arrested in front of frightened children and "locked up" for 7 hours in a cell for calling a transgender woman a "man" in an online chat. Three policemen took a woman to the police station for a quarrel in Twitter with an activist of the "asexual" movement.

The quarrel on the Internet occurred on the basis of plans for transgender people to receive ID cards with the designation of the other sex. As a result, after being detained, a young mother from Hitchin, in the English county of Hertfordshire, was fingerprinted, a DNA sample was taken and photographed as a criminal.
