"The Magical World of Harry Potter" is a park with a full—size model of Hogwarts, opened at Universal Studios in Hollywood. It was planned for 5 years, built for another 2.5 years, and it cost the creators no less than $ 500 million.
The last book in the Harry Potter series was released back in 2007, but J.K. Rowling's magic empire continues to expand: the popularity of the Pottermore website is growing, the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where they Live" is coming out this year, the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is planned for the summer of 2016, and now — why not? — a theme park has also opened.
Tickets for the opening of the park, scheduled for April 7, were bought by so many people that Universal had to close online sales for the first time in the company's history.
