In the pictures, you can see how the newly-minted states are trying to define their national identity after the collapse of the communist empire. Territory of contrasts, in which there is enough wealth and poverty. The rapid renewal of cities, against which the deprivation of the surroundings stands out even more, the gilded images of new dictators in the interiors of faded power.
