52-year-old photographer Geert Weggen (Geert Weggen) took some unusual shots near his home in Bispgarden, Sweden. In the center of the frame, a squirrel is trying to lift a "barbell" of nuts, which was made by the photographer himself.
The man glued walnuts on a pin and put them on a stick. It's very funny to watch a fluffy rodent trying to lift a homemade "barbell" like a real weightlifter.
According to Geert, about six squirrels appear in his garden every day. Some of them do not come close, but there are also animals so brave that they climb on top of a person and allow themselves to be stroked.
This is not the first time that some unusual ideas for shooting squirrels have appeared. For example, wildlife photographer Sharon Cutler made a bedroom for squirrels with cots and bed linen.
Squirrels are catching up with cats and dogs — the main stars of Instagram - in popularity. For example, more than 600 thousand subscribers follow the life of squirrel Jill in social networks. Therefore, it is not surprising that these furry animals are increasingly getting into the lenses.
