Hipster Christmas nativity scene is, firstly, ironic

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/hipster-christmas-nativity-scene-is-firstly-ironic.htmlThe whole world seems to be obsessed with remakes, sequels and alterations of everything that was created in previous eras. It is not surprising that the traditional biblical Nativity scene was given modern features. This is exactly what happened with the nativity scene inspired by hipster aesthetics.

The three Magi abandoned the traditional but slightly outdated camels in favor of super-fast Segway scooters in order to get to little Jesus as soon as possible. The gifts of the Magi, which originally included gold, frankincense and myrrh, were replaced with goods from the Amazon bestseller list.

Joseph froze in the process of shooting the most legendary selfie in the world, and the Virgin Mary diligently stretches her lips with a tube.

If you look closely, you can notice other funny similarities with modernity. For example, gluten-free cow food, a roof with solar panels, a hand-knitted sweater on a sheep, a perfectly waxed mustache and a mandatory Apple device.

It's hard to imagine how the creators of this Christmas scene in a modern way could make it even more hipster. Except to add an antique penny-farthing model bicycle and a vintage pocket watch.

By the way, this hipster Christmas can be purchased for $129. Isn't that ironic?
