Tress became interested in the topic of children's fears in the 1960-ies, was made the first images. In his work he used not just simplified adult idea of what children are afraid. With each child he met in person and tried to feel deeply the inexplicable that really frightens them.

"The purpose of these fantastic photos to show how children's imagination is constantly transforming existence into magical symbols of unspoken feelings and sensations. In fact, we continue to interpret some things as adults, but don't do it as sincerely as children," says Tress on the "Catcher".
The place didn't matter. Arthur spoke with his inspirations from schools, on playgrounds and even in the neighbor's yard. He asked children to bring your own literally from scrap materials. They talked about their horrors, and then they became their incarnations.
"Dreamcatcher" is a combination of dreams themselves, the mystical archetypes, fairy tales, horror, imagination and quite a bit of humor.
