Granny prankster became famous by posing for a Walmart supermarket ad

In the American city of North East, Maryland, there is a supermarket chain Walmart, which employs a woman named Charlene. She came up with an unusual advertising campaign: to be photographed with the same facial expression in different departments of the supermarket, and then post it all on Facebook on the official page of the store.

Very soon, many publications wrote about the woman, including Fox and Bored Panda. Pictures of her were scattered on social networks, entertainment portals Reddit and Imgur.

Now Charlene is the main celebrity of the North East, and in the store where she works, the woman is greeted with applause.

The staff even organized a petition to try to send Charlene to the Ellen DeGeneres show.
