Sotheby's auction House is scheduled for today, October 17, dedicated to gold. This event will be held under the name "Midas Touch". Among the lots there are both ordinary household items and antiques. All of them are either made of gold, or covered with this precious metal. Special attention is drawn to the gilded 1977 Ferrari, as well as the golden bust of Kate Moss.

The auction "Touch of Midas", which will be held today in London, presents jewelry, furniture, household items and musical instruments.

The director of the Sotheby's auction house, Konstantin Frangos, noted that this is the first auction dedicated entirely to gold.

Among other lots, the bust of 44-year-old model Kate Moss stands out, which is made of 750 gold. Its author is the famous British sculptor and artist Marc Quinn (Marc Quinn). The approximate cost of the lot is 300-400 thousand pounds (26-34 million rubles).

Also at the auction will be presented a gold painting by the French artist Yves Klein (Yves Klein) in 1961 under the title "Monogold Sans Titre". The price of this work of art will range from 800 thousand pounds to 1.2 million (69-103 million rubles).
