The latter method is called Sun printing.

11. The chemical solution is applied with a brush to watercolor paper, after which the paper becomes sensitive to UV radiation.
12. By the way, thanks to the application of the solution with a brush, such beautiful stains are obtained.
13. Sometimes the photographer uses tea or coffee for a sepia effect.
