In 2015, a similar story happened in France: Ayman Latrou from Tunisia rescued two children from a fire, only he did not meet with the president and was not offered citizenship. And in general they want to deport from the country. These are the double standards.

The story of 25-year-old Ayman Latrou, an illegal migrant from Tunisia, is at the same time similar to the story of "Spider-Man from Mali" and very different from it. After all, three years ago, Ayman also became a hero when he saved two children from a fire, only he was not given citizenship, and now they want to deport him altogether.
On the evening of April 10, 2015, Ayman was walking with two friends when he heard a woman screaming: "My children! My children are there!" An apartment on the second floor of a house in the Val d'Oise area was engulfed in fire. Without thinking twice, three friends broke into the apartment, where they found two little boys: one was a year and a half old, the second was four. The children managed to get out of the fire, after which the rescuers left.
But the mother of the rescued children decided to find three men to personally express her gratitude to them. And the mayor of the city presented the rescuers with medals "For Bravery".
The mayor appealed to the highest authorities, vouching for Ayman, but the application for citizenship was rejected. Three years later, Ayman was ordered to leave the country altogether.
The media began to actively discuss two different stories about the rescue of children and the fate of the brave. Ayman began to be called a forgotten hero. As a result, the authorities canceled the deportation order. But Ayman's lawyer, Filipin Parastasti, says that's not enough.
