The work became even more famous thanks to its film adaptation released in 1985 — the five-part TV movie "Guest from the Future".
In 1982, the studio "Diafilm" released a film of the same name — " 100 years ahead. Kolya in the future", which describes the events of the book only until the moment of Kolya's arrival at the cosmodrome. It is noteworthy that the content of the filmstrip is almost identical to the story (unlike the subsequent film "Guest from the Future"), with the exception of only the date: in the filmstrip, Kolya falls not on April 11, but on August 11, 2082.
