The main thing here is to find films that will appeal to both men and women. We don’t want to go too far on the male spectrum to hyper-violence, and we don’t want to go into the female end of the rom-com oblivion.

1. Marriage history.

Scarlett Johansson is at her best here. It's the same with Adam Driver, who plays her husband. The film is the story of the rise and fall of a gorgeous, artistic couple from New York, universal in theme and heartbreaking in their honesty.

2. Malcolm and Marie.

The new film stars a familiar face - rising megastar Zendaya in the title role. She and another rising megastar, John David Washington, are leading the way as lovers. The Excavation book has been described as "a brilliantly executed account of the most famous archaeological site in Britain today." And the film is a worthy adaptation. Based on the historical novel by John Preston, the story of the 1939 Anglo-Saxon ship excavation at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk, where two early medieval cemeteries were discovered dating back to the 6th-7th centuries. The plot revolves around Carey Mulligan, a widow who owns land that Basil Brown (Ralph Fiennes) wants to dig.

In the surprisingly serious and heartfelt comedy-drama Paddleton, Mark Duplass, and Ray Romano play the role of two best friends trying to cope with the end. Michael (Mark Duplass) has an incurable disease. The two became very close, living in the same apartment complex and spending hours playing the paddle to they invented.

Dan Stevens in The Guest is wildly unpredictable as "David," a former soldier who stops at the family home of one of his deceased comrades to pay his respects. But David holds great secrets, and while his sexy smile inspires a lot of confidence, his true nature is beginning to emerge. He is staggeringly cruel, beats up high school students who cause trouble for the family, but he does not stop there. The "guest" is destined to become a cult classic. With a stylized soundtrack and stunning performance, it relies heavily on movies like Drive and slashers like Halloween.

7. Okcha.

Is there anything stronger than the bond between a little girl and her six-ton super pig? No no. Okja, the work of Korean master Bong Joon Ho, is a modern-day alien tale. It is a powerful allegory of corporate greed and the world we have created for ourselves, but at its core is a love story.

8. Catch me if you can.

In many films with Leonardo DiCaprio, he is the center. He is one of those movie stars around whom you can build a film - good people will come to see, whatever the film is. Catch Me If You Can is arguably his greatest solo film. DiCaprio plays teenage fraud Frank Abagnale in almost every scene. After his beloved parents split up, Frank leaves to succeed and save his family. But he has nothing, and the guy turns to life with fake identities and checks the falsification in the real story. "Catch Me If You Can" is a showcase of DiCaprio's talents. He is as convincing as a naive teenager, as a pilot, a doctor or a lawyer, while the film continues.

9. Impossible.

The Impossible is the world's greatest natural disaster film in terms of realism. The story is based on the true story of Maria Belon (Naomi Watts) and her family. They were vacationing in Thailand when the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami hit the coast and wiped everything off the face of the earth.

In Best Friend's Wedding, a beloved rom-com, Julia Roberts tries to prevent her best friend Michael (Dermot Mulroney) from marrying a sweet young girl named Kimmy (Cameron Diaz).

The Conjuring, including The Conjuring 2 of 2016, is based on supposedly real incidents. Ed and Lorraine Warren were real people whose alleged feats are played out in films. In the sequel, The Conjuring, the couple travels to the UK to deal with what would later become known as the Anfield poltergeist. Both of these films are great for horror fans.
