"My name is Albert Potsei. I have been professionally engaged in photography for 10 years. This photo project became a kind of personal challenge for me: I wanted to capture the faces of women at the moment when they are at the peak of physical pleasure. How did I come up with this idea? I dreamed about it. I would wake up and think that I just had to do it. Therefore, I tried to explore the female orgasm with the help of a photo experiment," Albert said.
"At first I thought it was impossible. The most difficult thing was to find models. I started writing to all the women I knew. The answers I received were usually of two types: "I don't have the courage for this" or silence. Well, silence is the most obvious answer to such a proposal. When I eventually found 20 women willing to take part in the project, several models refused because they thought they would just have to play an orgasm. A few more could not relax during the photo shoots. Therefore, at the end there were only 15 women left."
"All the models who took part in the project really experienced an orgasm during filming. In order to achieve the desired result, in some cases I used timelapse shooting, in which pictures are taken automatically every second, even when I am not near the camera: it was easier for some girls to relax this way. However, the others didn't need it, and most of the pictures were taken by me personally."
"I didn't want this project to become some kind of cliche, I didn't want any acting - I wanted to capture the real feelings as they are. Every person is unique, as is everyone's orgasm. I would like people to look at these pictures and think about something important. And cliches are not able to make people think about anything," Albert believes.
