Features of Russian street art: graffiti with a personal touch from Slava Ptrk

Every artist working in the genre of street art, has its own special handwriting. Moreover, graffiti artists from different countries are different from each other. Russian street art, which is undergoing in the last years of unprecedented growth, can also be described as a special school and bright it is representative of the Glory of Atra.

Under this unusual pseudonym of the artist Stanislav Komissarov, well known not only in Russia but also in Europe. He 29-year-old artist originally from the Urals, which gave domestic street art a lot of young talent. Glory now lives in Moscow, but works across the country, not forgetting about the near and far abroad.

The commissioners engaged in street art for over 10 years and is not only known among colleagues and connoisseurs of modern graffiti, and is a laureate of many national and international awards. The main techniques in which the artist works are stencil and installation. But in addition, in the mood, Atra can create something spectacular in the form of a poster, free spray or urban intervention.

Drawing fascinated Stanislav since childhood — he graduated from art school. F. A. Bronnikov in his native Shadrinsk and drawn for as long as he can remember. Learned in University to be a journalist, Commissars have left their hobby and decided to turn it into a major profession and the business of life.

Young Amateur artist finishes the course CEC ArtsLink Lav Global Art in new York in 2014 and the school for contemporary arts, Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art "Free workshops" in the capital, in 2016.

In the same 2016 Slava Ptrk became the first member of the Union of Russian artists working in the style of street art. Despite the success, the guy does not forget about his journalistic education. It helps him to write articles about street art such online publications as Codered.ru, adme.ru, rap.ru, wtf-magazine.com, itsmycity.ru.

Among the artists that have influenced his style, Atra calls Kazimir Malevich, Marcel Duchamp, AI Wei Wei and, of course, Banksy.
