Exploring the world and yourself: the peaceful works of Japanese artist Takahiro Hara

Japanese artist Takahiro Hara says that the main goal of his work is to explore the external and his own inner world. His paintings are filled with peace and are designed in pastel colors. Takahiro Hara was born in 1971 in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. While still in elementary school, he decided that he would be an artist. After school, Hara entered the College of Arts, and after graduating in 1996, he left to continue his education in Europe.

Since Haru was most impressed by the paintings of Spanish masters, he decided to settle in Madrid. There Takahiro entered the university, after which he worked for several years in the workshops of Spanish painters.

Spanish artists greatly influenced Takahiro's style of work. Therefore, many are surprised when they find out that the author of the paintings is Japanese. The artist himself believes that he has not yet achieved the necessary skill and continues to study and experiment. He is not ashamed to remember his failures, which gave him the motivation to become better.

The artist is modest and does not like interviews. But connoisseurs of modern painting have long ago discovered his talent. Takahiro Hara's paintings are highly prized by collectors around the world. His exhibitions are successfully held in Europe, the USA and, of course, Japan.
