Sarah Murnane, an Australian photographer, recently gave birth to her second child and wanted to breastfeed him longer. However, she quickly faced a negative reaction from society, she was made to be ashamed of the fact that she was breastfeeding in public. And then Sarah came up with the idea to create a photo project about breastfeeding (The Australian Breastfeeding Project) under the motto: "Every breastfeeding mother should feel like a goddess."

"When I started the project, I wanted to show that the main thing is spiritual closeness and sisterhood." Now the photographer admits that he wants to destroy the negative stereotypes that surround such a natural and necessary phenomenon as milk feeding.

"I want all mothers to feel comfortable while feeding their baby. I want to live in a world where a woman can safely feed her child and not catch the disapproving looks of passers-by."

Sarah Murnane believes that too many mothers switch their children to artificial milk, whereas breastfeeding is much more useful. And one of the reasons is in the condemning comments and views.
