2024 started on the right foot with the release of the horror movie Night Swim, the musical Mean Girls, David Ayer’s action thriller The Beekeeper, the biblical comedy-drama The Book of Clarence, and the sci-fi thriller I.S.S. Argylle will be released on February 1, 2024.

Argylle is a spy action comedy film directed by Matthew Vaughn. It’s the story of Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), a reclusive writer whose novels tell the missions of a secret agent named Argylle (Henry Caill). However, the plots of her novels start to mirror the actions of a sinister underground syndicate, dragging her into a covert world where nothing and no one is what they seem. Also starring in Argylle are Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, and Samuel L. Jackson, among many others.

2. Lisa Frankenstein
Lisa Frankenstein will be released on February 9, 2024.

Lisa Frankenstein is a horror comedy written by Diablo Cody and directed by Zelda Williams in her feature-length directorial debut. Set in 1989, Lisa Frankenstein follows Lisa Swallows (Kathryn Newton), a misunderstood goth teenager who brings back to life the corpse of a once-handsome Victorian-era young man (Cole Sprouse) she had been crushing on. Lisa takes the challenge of rebuilding him into the man of her dreams, but they soon end up on a murderous journey to find true love, happiness, and certain body parts he’s still missing. Also starring in Lisa Frankenstein are Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.

Madame Web will be released on February 14, 2024.

The latest entry in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is Madame Web, directed by S. J. Clarkson. Madame Web will introduce the audience to Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson), a paramedic who develops psychic abilities that show her future events within the “spider world”. Cassandra’s power forces her to confront her past while she also protects three young women with powerful futures who are being chased by a mysterious enemy who wants them dead. Also starring in Madame Web is Sydney Sweeney as Julie Cornwall, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, and Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims.

4. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 will be released on February 14, 2024.

Despite being a critical failure, the box office success of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey granted it a sequel that will be released in theaters in February 2024. Simply titled Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, it will introduce beloved characters Owl and Tigger (with a horrifying twist, of course) as well as a human character named Cavendish, a regretful alcoholic with a tormenting past said to be linked to Christopher Robin (via Variety). However, most plot details are unknown, but it will see Pooh and company leaving the Hundred Acre Wood to terrorize the quiet community of Ashdown.

Bob Marley: One Love tells the story of legendary Jamaican singer and songwriter Bob Marley (Kingsley Ben-Adir), one of the pioneers of reggae, as he overcame adversity to become one of the greatest musicians in history and an icon of Jamaican music, culture, and identity. Also starring in Bob Marley: One Love is Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Daniel Melville Jr., Sevana, and Tosin Cole.

Land of Bad will be released on February 16, 2024.

Land of Bad is an action thriller directed by William Eubank. Land of Bad centers on Reaper (Russell Crowe), a USAF drone pilot who provides air support from a General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper to a US Army Delta Force team on the ground in the Philippines. When the Delta Force team is ambushed in enemy territory, rookie officer Kinney (Liam Hemsworth) refuses to abandon them, and their only hope lies on Reaper, who serves as their eyes in the sky during a nightmarish 48-hour battle for survival. Drive-Away Dolls is a comedy road film directed by Ethan Coen. Looking for a fresh start, Jamie and Marian go on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but their plans quickly take a turn when they come across a group of inept criminals, who hid something very important to them in the rental car that was mistakenly given to Jamie and Marian.
