His paintings of vegetables, fruits and flowers have repeatedly won first place in serious competitions. But we want to introduce you to another side of this master's work. The artist is excellent not only in painting carrots and tulips, but also in nude paintings. (Caution! Nude nature).
Ron Schwerin was born in 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It would be nice to say that he started drawing in childhood, but that is not true. Ron was passionate about photography since school, but was indifferent to painting.
After school, he attended the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York, where he received a degree in art. After that, Schwerin devoted himself to his favorite work - he became a freelance photographer.
It was only after working as a photographer for several years that Ron became seriously interested in painting. He started with still lifes and, with an excellent art education and a keen eye for photography, quickly achieved success.
The time came when the paintings of Schwerin the artist became more in demand than the photographs of Schwerin the photographer. And then the master gave in and completely immersed himself in painting. Having tried himself in the erotic genre, he realized that he could do it too.
Today, Ron Schwerin's still lifes and female portraits can be seen in famous art galleries and private collections. Oddly enough, still lifes still feed him, and for the artist's most expensive paintings, it is not languid beauties who pose, but fresh vegetables.
And the Frenchman Gerard Schlosser, before becoming the master of erotic pop art, was engaged in wood carving. This once again proves that if a person is talented, then he is talented in everything.
