The pictures were taken in 1899 at the castle Wolfsgarten near the city of Darmstadt. They depict the last Emperor of Russian Empire Nicholas II with his wife Alexandra and friends — the Danish Princess Ingeborg, Duchess of Darmstadt, Prince Nicholas Greek.
As the pictures show, nothing human was alien, not as representatives of the aristocracy and the Imperial family. Photos over a hundred years, but the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of these frames felt until now.
