Duck tracks in the UK: birds have become full-fledged road users
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/duck-tracks-in-the-uk-birds-have-become-full-fledged-road-users.htmlIn London, Birmingham and Manchester, special zones like bicycle paths have appeared, only for ducks. Birds can walk around the designated area without being afraid of pedestrians or cyclists. However, it is still unknown whether the birds will comply with the rules of movement.
The initiative to create "duck tracks" belongs to the Canal & River Trust organization as part of the "Divide the space and slow down the pace" campaign. Activists urge citizens to pay attention to wild animals living nearby.
