But in an interview, the player admits that he does not consider himself a "gaming addict", and advises young guys thinking about the future not to spend all their free time on video games. According to him, it takes him only 2 hours a day to work.
Tyler has been interested in streaming for almost 10 years, but before that he earned mainly on gaming competitions. He achieved success in streaming quite recently and today earns more than half a million dollars a month and is the tenth most popular streamer on Twitch. In a recent interview, he talked about the reasons for his success and admitted that he was not going to throw money around, as he had never counted on such success.
On the platform, Tyler performs under the nickname Ninja and focuses on the game Fortnite. He published the first stream of this game in the fall of 2017, and now — six months later — hundreds of thousands of people like his broadcasts and are gaining millions of views.
Recently, his joint stream with rapper Drake was watched live by more than 600 thousand people. In total, Tyler has almost 4 million subscribers on Twitch and more than 5 million on YouTube — more than the rapper.
The guy has always been fond of video games, but, according to him, it never gave his parents cause for concern.
Nevertheless, according to Tyler, he always had a craving for competition. Although games were just a hobby, he didn't just spend time mindlessly relaxing in front of the screen — it always seemed important to him to be the best in the ranking, to beat other players.
After Blevins' recent interview with CNBC, viewers were divided in their opinions about such a career.
And people wonder what's wrong with the world… kid with green hair making 500k a month… by others watching him play video games. I don't like this place at all.

Doesn’t that make the world beautiful to show you don’t have to work like a dog to have a lot of money?

To become a successful streamer, it takes plenty of hard work and dedication. There are plenty of streamers now who started with absolutely nothing

The reason for the popularity of Tyler's streams is not only in the game itself — after all, many people can pass it, but also in what he himself brings to the experience of interacting with users.

However, the gamer himself deals with the income that has fallen on him quite thoroughly, and young users who watch his broadcasts are advised not to get carried away with games to the detriment of their studies and plans for the future.
Tyler himself, along with his wife Jess, spends most of the money earned on the stream for charity. Every month they allocate huge sums to veterinary clinics, and recently held a stream in which they collected 100 thousand dollars for a donation to an organization that deals with the problems of teenage suicide.
