If you believe this assumption, then the person who takes out the garbage in the evening, together with him takes out his money and well-being in the house. And there are several reasons why it is considered so. The first one has a mystical background: you need to have time to take out the garbage before sunset so that good spirits can enter the house and protect the owners from evil spirits.

A more reasonable explanation is that neighbors can gossip about a person taking out garbage at night. "Hmm, what is he throwing out there? And why at night? Is there really something to hide?!" ... And it is quite logical that where there is gossip, there is no place for peace and well-being.

In esotericism, there is a ritual through which you can transfer your problems (illness, failure, poverty, loneliness, etc.) to another person. To do this, all the negativity is shifted to some thing and made so that someone picks it up. Traditionally, such "crossbars" are carried to intersections. It is believed that whoever takes it will also "take over" all other people's problems.

In the old days, it was believed that a whistle could summon a certain demon who would steal from a person all the financial condition and well-being. But this popular superstition also has a simpler explanation: if you do nothing all day, just whistle out of boredom, then where will this money come from at all?

This is perhaps the most common sign after "Friday the 13th". It is believed that if a black cat crosses a person's path, then trouble is sure to await him ahead. The only reason why the grandmothers of our ancestors similarly asked them not to sew clothes on themselves is the lack of antiseptics and antibiotics. Injuring yourself with a large and, as a rule, rusty needle, you could earn yourself a lot of trouble, but not "sew up your memory" in any way…

But this makes sense, because mirrors have always been considered a kind of portals to the other world. The soul of the deceased can get into it and "get lost" or go to the wrong place. Therefore, until the person is buried, it is better to keep the mirrors in the house closed.

It is believed that by passing something over the threshold, a woman postpones her marriage. This sign has its roots since ancient times, when people buried the remains of deceased relatives at the doorstep of the house. Therefore, it was not customary to linger on the threshold for a long time, pass something through it or somehow disturb the bodies of the dead.

By the way, it is for this reason that some peoples consider the threshold to be the boundary between good and evil - a safe house and the other world.

If you suddenly forgot something at home and returned, you definitely need to look in the mirror, smile at your reflection and say hello. Well, or spit three times over your left shoulder… To whom as they say. 

And this superstition is connected, again, with the threshold on which evil spirits live. If you look in the mirror, the evil spirits will allegedly run away there.

The reason here is simple — "the morning of the evening is more complicated." In the evening, especially after a hard day's work, you are relaxed and ready for rash actions. Therefore, by giving someone a loan, you may eventually change your mind about this decision or realize that now you yourself are left without means of livelihood.

Any unmarried girl is secretly "afraid" to sit on the corner of the table, because since childhood, her mothers and grandmothers convinced her that because of this she would not get married. It turns out that the reason for this lies in the negative energy carried by the sharp edge of the furniture. Sitting on a corner, a person "feeds" himself with this negative. Well, then it's clear: who wants to marry an evil buka?

Many of us still believe in the truthfulness of this omen, while most do not even suspect where it came from. The thing is that in the old days salt was quite rare and valuable, and even wealthy people appeared on the table only on holidays.
