Says Sergey Anashkevich: "I always look forward to the middle of June with a special desire. And the reason for this is banal simple. Lavender. Its flowering is something special. Even for me, a man who is quite indifferent to flowers, purple madness leads to complete delight.

From year to year I come to this place to hear the hum of bees again, feel the powerful dizzying aroma and see these fields stretching away into the distance, which seem to be flooded with purple paint."
