Tokyo is a very photogenic city. Many photographers tried to unravel the capital of Japan, to feel it. Local photographer Masashi Vakui also decided to try his luck. His style has always been marked by uniqueness and surreality. He was able to see Tokyo as it is shown in animated films. For a similar effect, Vakui uses the reflection of lanterns in the fog and the light of signs at night in Tokyo. More photos of Masashi Vakui can be viewed on his Flickr page.
