The organizers of the festival undertook to prove that this material can be organically used in the design of any interior or exterior. Their uncle probably works in a bamboo factory. 12 famous designers and architects from China and other countries were invited to participate in the biennale.
"For many centuries, bamboo has been used in rural communities in different ways," says one of the organizers. — This building material has many different qualities, while its relevance in mainland China is reduced in favor of concrete. Due to the rapid and extensive expansion of new Chinese cities, most of the traditional methods of construction had to be abandoned."
"After the biennale, all the buildings will be used. Hotel, training center, library… This is a new way of survival of the village, designed to attract tourists to this quiet corner to demonstrate the native Chinese culture, as well as all the functionality and beauty of bamboo."
