But the French portrait painter Kieson is a supporter of traditions. In his portraits, actors and pop performers look as if they were painted for the ceremonial hall of the ancestral castle.
Kieson was already a well-known illustrator when it occurred to him to try his hand at portraiture. The artist decided to rethink the images of modern movie and stage stars, and send them back a hundred, two hundred, or even five hundred years ago.
