But she was still able to dance in her dress for 500 euros when friends gave her their own party.

16-year-old Shannon Purcifer (Shannon Purcifer) did not go to graduation because the eleventh graders bullied her because of a serious illness: Shannon has ulcerative colitis and arthritis. She even bought a dress for graduation, but at the last moment changed her mind about going, afraid of the ridicule of classmates. After learning about this, her mother Claire posted a photo of Shannon in a dress on Facebook. And it touched people.
The taunts began two years ago, after Shannon spent two weeks in the hospital. Then the insults moved to social networks. "It was difficult to cope with it. They used to call me the most terrible names, I can't even repeat them," the girl said. She even had to change her phone number, but the bullying didn't stop.
Shannon was afraid that her classmates would poison her at graduation. On the evening before the ball, she tried on a dress that had been bought back in February, but she did not dare to go.
More than a hundred friends and relatives came to the impromptu graduation, which was arranged especially for Shannon. There was a banquet, and decorations, and a disco.
The girl told: "It was just great. It was nice to talk to everyone and thank them for their efforts. It was even better than I could have imagined. Much better than if I went to my prom. The best part is when the bikers arrived. I knew that they would come, but I could not even think that I would ride a tricycle." Bikers from Gosport Scooter Club helped with the organization of the holiday.
Speaking before Shannon's party, the school principal said, "An alternative graduation is a great idea. This is a great example of the positive help of social networks."
