By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/both-fish-and-meat-gastronomic-festival-in-moscow.htmlA large—scale gastronomic festival - "Golden Autumn" has begun in Moscow. More than 180 producers from 37 regions of Russia participate in the festival. The scale of the event is impressive — 180 tons of farm products were sold during the first few days of the festival, and 1.5 thousand burgers were cooked and eaten on Revolution Square alone, in the festival tent restaurant "Meat Cult"!
Free master classes for every taste and color, lectures by nutritionists and farmers, thematic excursions and much more are waiting for you. Be sure to go at the first opportunity. The gastronomic marathon will run until October 9, a detailed schedule of events and a description of the venues are available on the festival's website.

The theme festival "Golden Autumn" is divided into three stages — "meat week", "cheese days" and "fish week". Now the "meat week" is in full swing, which will run until October 2. More than 230 types of meat and meat products are presented at the festival venues.
You can buy both traditional pork and beef, as well as the most unusual types of meat — venison, bear meat, roe deer, guinea fowl, partridge and much more.
Here, at the festival venues, professional chefs will initiate you into the secrets of the best recipes of your favorite dishes. For example, on Kuznetsky Most Street there is a free culinary school every day, where under the guidance of titled chefs and participants of culinary shows you can cook the most delicious roast beef, lasagna, filet mignon, etc. An additional bonus is that everything freshly prepared can be tasted right on the spot. And participation in master classes and tastings is completely free.
Stoleshnikov Lane turned into a "wool street" during the festival thanks to the masters of yarnbombing (another name for this creative direction is street knitting): cozy trees, carefully wrapped in woolen cloths, lanterns under the "sky of autumn leaves" — bright and colorful regardless of the vagaries of the weather, an antique fair with "grandmother's" lace and antique samovars. Here you will be taught how to knit and offered to decorate Stoleshnikov Lane together. Well, those who don't want to knit can just listen to jazz wrapped in a warm blanket — concerts are held here every day.
Speaking of concerts. Any music lover will find his music on Revolution Square. Throughout the festival, concerts are held here — from classics performed by symphony orchestras to incendiary twist and rock and roll from young Moscow rock bands.
And very close, in the park near the monument to Karl Marx, you can feel the real hunting excitement, shoot in a medieval shooting range, and also learn a lot about the traditions of hunting and fishing!
For those who are not a fan of meat, there is a "Farmer's eco-market" on Tverskaya Square, where you can buy delicious seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs and other products. There you will also be told about how and under what conditions this or that crop was grown. In most cases, sellers of the "Farmer's eco-market" on Tverskaya Square have grown their own goods.
Almost all the festival grounds are decorated with such cute cozy lanterns made of leaves.
If you are not at the festival yet, run quickly! It's cool here. In addition, all entertainment is absolutely free. Have a nice day!
