Gelio blogger writes: Blagoveshchensk is a city in the Far East, the administrative center of the Amur Region. The city is located on the left bank of the Amur, at the confluence of the Zeya River. It is located 7985 km east of Moscow, on the border with China, opposite the city of Heihe. Blagoveshchensk is the only administrative center of a subject of the Russian Federation, located directly on its state border.
