The first strip club accepting cryptocurrency was the Legends Room club, opened by former martial arts coach Nick Blomgren.
The Legends Room Club positions itself as a unique institution for adults, combining traditional services of a strip club and the latest technologies. The session can be reserved online in advance, and the use of digital currency provides anonymity to customers in case they do not want their payments to be tracked by loved ones.
"We realized that there is a free niche in the market [for bitcoin]," says Marketing director Peter Klamka. "However, the places where you can spend bitcoin are usually not so interesting."
It is now possible to pay for services or tip employees using a QR code on their body, made in the form of a temporary tattoo. The crypto strip club does not stop at bitcoin - electric car charging stations are installed in the parking lot at the club. According to the marketing director, this is the first step towards integrating adult entertainment and technology.

The recognition of technology has already given the club huge popularity among progressive-minded youth. The club's clients are often young employees of tech giants and startups from neighboring Silicon Valley, as well as guests of popular conferences for investors and technologists, which are often held in Vegas.
"Those who use bitcoin are technology—oriented young people who are attracted to nightclubs and beautiful women. We really created a place where they would like to leave their digital money," Klamka says in an interview with Motherboard.
The Legends Room Club is not another institution that decided to make money on the popularity of cryptocurrencies, but a really new business at the intersection of entertainment and technology. Being the founder and owner of the gym, Nick Blomgren, thinking about how to enter the cryptocurrency market, initially wanted to link digital currencies and mixed martial arts, but the idea of a strip club seemed more promising to him.
The institution has also released its own Legends virtual currency (LGD), which is very popular in Las Vegas. Buying five thousand LGD coins buys VIP club membership, giving access to additional services and a separate hall, where celebrities and porn industry stars often appear.
Many crypto enthusiasts travel from other states to visit this unique place. At the same time, the LGD currency was issued before the institution opened — therefore, according to Blomgren, many of the first visitors did not even believe in the existence of the club and came to look at it out of interest. Now that the club has gained popularity, the founder plans to develop his own network, and in the future also try to combine adult entertainment, technology and mixed martial arts.
