By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/as-known-the-israeli-thief-became-a-national-hero.htmlIn the 90s Moti Ashkenazi was one of the most famous and dexterous thieves in all of Israel. Usually the guy hunted on the beaches of tel Aviv where in order to "clean" the tourists didn't even need to do much, picked up the bag and went.
But one day with Moti, there was a story that forever changed his life and attitude of people to him. After the Ashkenazim began to love and honor. What happened? Read our material.
Moti Ashkenazi everybody knew the storm of tourists. When the man neared the beach, the guards immediately warned tourists: bags to keep to yourself, keep your eyes peeled! And everyone was watching. But mochi is still somehow miraculously able to sneak right under the noses of law enforcement.
For their violations drug addicts Ashkenazi repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility. Just when there was a story that changed his life, mochi was under house arrest.
It was June 20, 1997. The offender ignored the court-ordered rules and went for a walk on the beach, "Yerushalayim", which celebrated the last day of school pupils and students. Just imagine what "booty"! Resist the temptation mochi just could not.
The man quickly chose the more expensive bag and began to examine its contents. "Towel, sunglasses, sunscreen... But where's the purse?". Burying his hand deeper, Moti came across something that made him gasp. It turned out that the bag is Packed full of a pile of nails...
The man immediately understood what the matter was, grabbed the bag and ran to the nearest abandoned building. There he again considered his discovery: before him was the bomb.
Mochi immediately called the police, although I understand what it faces. As expected, the police did not believe the thief, and advised him to quit drugs. Then the Ashkenazi had no choice but to attract the attention of a more radical way. Moti jumped out and started to block the roadway trash cans, accompanying it all, shouting "Bomb! Don't come here, there's a bomb!".
To ignore this, the police simply could not. The man then "twisted" and was about to drive to the station, but just in case decided to make sure that the subject is in an abandoned house is a no-brainer. The surprise of the police knew no bounds when they realized that Moti Ashkenazi telling the truth.
On the scene called the engineers and they have deactivated the mechanism. It turned out that the bag, which was more than five kilograms of explosives planted on the beach a terrorist, three months ago staged an explosion in a local café.
For what Moti was trying to save people the cost of his own freedom (because of the violating the terms of house arrest, he faces a real term), he was cleared of all charges and sent to free rehabilitation in a drug treatment clinic.
Now mochi for 50 years, he brings up five children and is fully satisfied with his present life. Man quit drugs, got a job and now he is fighting with those who take property from their rightful owners, Ashkenazy maintains order at one of the beaches of tel Aviv, where his watchful gaze until I could hide no thief.
So a coincidence can forever change the destiny of man.
