Russian artist Andrey Shatilov has chosen a difficult path — he paints with oil. In the digital age this commitment to the classical values of a rarity, but appreciate the master, not only for that. Each painting is a work of deep meaning, which is not always obvious. Sometimes, in order to understand the author's intention, you need to spend time, but in the case of works of this painter no pity on him.

The artist was born in 1987 in the city of Akhtubinsk. Painting Andrew had a craving since childhood and knew that it would be an artist. So he graduated from art school, and then entered into a branch of the Astrakhan school. P. A. Vlasov, who in 2012 graduated with honors.

But the first personal exhibition of Andrey Shatilov took place even before the completion of his studies, in 2010. Works of the artist like to the audience and he immediately has the image of a gifted portraitist, philosophizing and flawless in technical terms. Immediately this was followed by participation in the International painting competition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of I. A. Bunin, which Shatila was one of the winners.
