"And yet he survived": what happens if you leave a child to a couple of designers

A couple from Zurich left a six-month-old baby for a day to the family of their designer friends, Erich and Hannes. After listening to a detailed briefing from the baby's father, the couple realized how much could go wrong. They decided to laugh at their fears, bringing them to the point of absurdity, and drew several apocalyptic scenarios of what could happen to a child.

According to the designers, they and the child had a busy day: with alien abduction and attacks by sharks and wild animals.

The photo series went viral, but some commentators criticized its creators for sitting in front of the computer a lot and not paying enough attention to the child.

Hannes responded to the claims as follows: "We admit that we did not devote this day to teaching the child to read. We didn't develop his brain by listening to classical music non-stop. We didn't feed him immune-boosting foods every 15 minutes. But still he survived, giggled a lot, all this time we were watching him, and at 19:30 he went to bed, completely happy. Ten years from now, we'll show him these photos and say, "Young man, we had a great time that day.""
