It is for the latter in Tokyo that they created the Book and Bed hotel, which opened its doors on November 5th. The bookstore-like hotel is located on the seventh floor of a skyscraper in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district. Designed by Makoto Tanijiri of the Supposed Design Office.
Prices range from 3,800 to 6,000 yen ($32-$50) per night. At the time of opening, the hotel's library had 1,700 books in Japanese and English.
