By Vika https://pictolic.com/article/actors-who-could-be-the-next-james-bond.htmlThe film industry is full of outstanding leading actors, so finding the next James Bond won't be too difficult, right? Producer Barbara Broccoli will have to choose carefully when Daniel Craig finished 007.

1. Robert Pattinson.
Why Pattinson? First, he's British and is set to debut as the new Bruce Wayne in Batman next year. His career in the States is rapidly gaining momentum. Plus, films like Cosmopolis and Argument prove that he can wear a suit with confidence. The days of Twilight are over. This guy is a real movie star. Perhaps too big for Bond.
2. Henry Cavill.
Cavill applied for the role of Bond in 2005 but was ultimately deemed too young. Age won't be a problem this time. We can see the British actor among the favorites for the shift, especially after he played a similar role in Mission: Impossible: Fallout (2018).
3. Idris Elba.
Actress Naomi Harris once proposed Elba as the next and first black James Bond, and that would be great then. But time is working against the formidable actor. Turning 50 in 2022, the modern 007 agent requires intense choreography of stunts as well as a long-term commitment.
4. Regge-Jean Page.
One of the brightest stars of 2020 thanks to her role in Bridgerton, Regge-Jean Page instantly claims Bond just because of her ability to wear a suit. But he is also young, British, and very much in demand. Can he act?
5. Lashana Lynch.
Lashana Lynch adopts the codename "007" after Bond resigns. So technically, we'll see the first black and female version of the secret agent very soon. Long term? Time will show. Perhaps Lynch will impress everyone in the film and become a star. Either way, that's how they'll move on to the female version of Bond.
6. Tom Hardy.
He has the movie star charisma you want in Bond and is good onset (see Mad Max: Fury Road). Girls want him, and guys want to be him.
7. Nicholas Hoult.
He is now one of the most sought-after actors in the world. Holt has a Bond appearance and has worked in X-Men and Mad Max: Fury Road. He would be a good choice.
8. Michael Fassbender.
Fassbender will bring real stellar power and talent to the Bond franchise. He is half German and half Irish, but he has the correct English accent and likes to wear expensive suits.
9. Callum Turner.
The dashing appearance of the protagonist? A bachelor's lifestyle? Addicted to martinis and British sports cars? Well, who knows, but Callum Turner would be a smart choice as the new Bond. The English actor (and former model) is a rising star.
10. Richard Madden.
Scottish actor Richard Madden could continue the legacy of the late Sean Connery as the new Bond. He starred in Game of Thrones. Also, take a look at this tuxedo counter. It would be natural.
11. Brad Pitt.
It seems unlikely, but perhaps one of the biggest movie stars in the world would be interested in adding James Bond to her resume. Pitt has never shied away from difficult stunts, but he is no longer as young as he used to be.
12. Ryan Gosling.
As natural as it may seem, it's hard to imagine Ryan Gosling taking the chance to play Bond. He has never been a blockbuster character, and working with an accent is none of his business. But, probably, the public would not like to see anyone else. Maybe Amazon (which just bought the Bond franchise) will put a ton of money into it.
13. Christian Bale.
He made Batman. Would Christian Bale have another chance to lead the iconic film franchise? Nothing to say, but the energetic British actor definitely manages to combine the immense work of stuntmen and the deadpan charm that the role of Bond demands. However, like the Elbe, he is 50.
14. Jason Statham.
Jason Statham seems natural to take Bond's place. He's British and will excel in those inevitable shirtless scenes that Bond directors seem to be so inclined towards. Not to mention the tricks ...
15. Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
One of the most underrated British actors, Johnson would be a pragmatic candidate for the next Bond.
16. John Hamm.
Hamm, more than any other American actor, seems to be made for Bond. He made his living by looking good while drinking on Mad Men. He held a pistol in Baby Driver, but he's basically a comedy/drama guy.
17. Jonathan Rhys Myers.
Meyers' fame has cooled a bit since the Tudors and Mission: Impossible III, but he's only included because of his looks.
18. Andrew Garfield.
Another Briton with great talent and the appearance of the most dashing secret agent in the history of cinema - Andrew Garfield starred in the franchise in the films "The Amazing Spider-Man". He knows how to act and can be charming when he wants to.
19. Matthew Goode.
The English actor is another great talent that is still quite underestimated in the States, despite having starred in The Watchman and many other films. He is respected by critics and will be a low-key and smart choice as Bond. The role would raise his authority above everything else.
