“The series was not created out of grief. Rather, it is just a way to honor the memory of children - through such a documentary story, ”Diana says in an interview with The Huffington Post.
Yudelson removes objects that, in her opinion, could reflect the personality of the child to whom they should have belonged. The series was filmed in black and white, without bright backgrounds and interiors. All on a plain black background.
According to statistics, 15-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriages. The loss of a child, even if he has not yet had time to be born, is a tragedy for a woman, and psychologically it is very difficult to survive. They do not talk about it - rather, they are silent, they forget, they do not think. Diana Yudelson's project is a way to help women cope with the bitterness of loss - physically and emotionally.
