A Victoria's Secret underwear show was held in Shanghai, where three Russian models were not allowed

On November 20, a large-scale fashion show from the Victoria's Secret underwear brand was held in Shanghai. The brand's "angels" took to the podium, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel, as well as famous models: Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Devon Windsor and many others. In total, the models showed 88 images, among which were images of a punk collaboration with the French fashion house Balmain. The girls went to the podium to live music by pianist Li Yundi, songs by Miguel, Harry Styles, Jane Zhang and Leslie Odom Jr.

Five models (three Russians Yulia Belyakova, Ekaterina Grigorieva and Irina Sharipova, Ukrainian Daria Khlistun and American supermodel Gigi Hadid), as well as singer Katy Perry could not come to the show: a few days before the event they were refused a Chinese visa without explanation.

According to the annual tradition, the fashion brand has presented a luxury bra Fantasy Bra for two million dollars. A model with a gold corset, studded with diamonds, yellow sapphires and blue topazes, was shown by 27-year-old Brazilian Lais Ribeiro.

After the show, 36-year-old model Alessandra Ambrosio said that after 17 years of cooperation, she stops being the "angel" of Victoria's Secret. The model wants to focus on children, acting career and her own line of swimwear Ale by Alessandra.
