The Wanda Reign Hotel on the Bund Embankment in Shanghai was built for three years and cost $ 515 million, with a considerable part of the amount spent on exquisite interior decoration.

The design was developed by the British company Foster + Partners, which mixed Art Deco style with the style of Chinese interiors of the early XX century, including magnolias and traditional Suzhou embroidery.
In the lobby, guests walk on jadeite-lined floors between marble columns, antique furniture and walls with mosaics and works by contemporary Chinese artists.
The refined design extends to the entire interior: in the four dining rooms there are massive chandeliers and stained glass windows. These premises are served by the Marc restaurant under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Marc Mano, a cafeteria, a Chinese restaurant, an institution with Japanese cuisine and a lobby lounge.
A dance hall with an area of 720 square meters with ceilings eight meters high is provided for events. It offers panoramic views of Pudong district and the Huangpu River.
The hotel also has, perhaps, the most luxurious karaoke room - Universe KTV. Each of the indoor karaoke club rooms has its own dance floor, disco lasers and the latest audiovisual equipment.
In the nightlife area of the hotel there is the Club Reign club with its own wine and cigar bars, as well as an open-air cocktail bar.
To cope with the consequences of a stormy night the next day, guests can go to one of the exclusive Shui Spa salons. Each salon has its own sauna, large pools with hot and cold water, rooms for various procedures and relaxation.
The hotel has 193 rooms, prices for which start at $ 430 per night. Each is equipped with the latest technology: there are massage chairs and electronic door eyes.
The best room is the Presidential Suite (Chairman Suite) on the 20th floor with an area of 288 square meters. There is a living room, a dining area with an adjacent pantry, a stylish bar, a separate office and a huge bathroom with a sauna and a large massage bath.
