A riot of colors of herbal sakura

1. In the spring in Japan, not only Japanese cherry blossoms bloom - sakura, but also entire plantations of shiba zakura flowers, which are translated into Russian as "herbal sakura"

2. These colors are called so for the similarity of color and shape with the "real" sakura.

3. Flowering takes place from late April to mid-May.

4. The best way to admire its bloom is to walk through Japanese parks or go to a seasonal festival where designers and florists alternate white and pink flowers, getting intricate shapes and figures.

5. For example, in Hitsuyiama Park near the city of Chichibu (Saitama Prefecture), a carpet of 40,000 flowers blooms by the end of April.

6. Against the backdrop of Mount Buko (Buko Mountain), resting against the sky with a white peak, the spectacle opens no less bewitching than with ordinary cherry blossoms.
