Anton Savchuk from Yekaterinburg is not the first time he makes repairs to people who are not able to afford it themselves. Most recently, he finished finishing work in the apartment of 95-year-old WWII veteran Vasily Fedorovich.

Below you can see photos of the "before/after" rooms. Anton's act really deserves respect!

33-year-old Anton Savchuk is sure that anyone can significantly improve the lives of the elderly and disabled. He himself tries to contribute by equipping homes for those who are not able to do it on their own. Anton, along with his friends and wife, have renovated rooms for the wheelchair user Valentina Isaevna, Leningrad blockade runner Tatiana Ilyinichna and the 15-year-old daughter of a female tram driver over the past six months.

And recently they completed repairs in the apartment of 95-year-old WWII veteran Vasily Fedorovich and his 93-year-old wife. For health reasons, the couple practically do not go out and they will not be able to attend the Victory Parade on May 9 either. But now, thanks to Anton, they will be able to watch the procession on the screen of a brand-new TV, sitting in a cozy room on a soft sofa.

This is how their apartment looked before the renovation. Agree that this is not the best place to spend your old age with dignity.

Just imagine what a gift this guy made for a married couple! By the way, Vasily Fedorovich and his wife have been living together for about 60 years.

Below you can see some more pictures of the renovation process and their renovated apartment.

Anton admits that he does not always have enough personal funds for repair work. In such cases, friends and just caring people come to the rescue. Even you will help contribute to the development of the project. You can learn more about Anton's activities in his Vkontakte group.

The guy hopes that someday he will be able to do repairs for one person every 1-2 months. According to Anton, he is pleased to realize that thanks to him someone becomes happier.

It would be great if his idea was picked up in other cities of Russia, and even better — brought to the state level. After all, he is not the only one who has the opportunity to help others. For example, the same "Housing issue" could involve not celebrities, but ordinary pensioners who are unable to take care of themselves.
