A new themed hostel in Kyoto offers to spend the night on a bookshelf
There is a Book And Bed Tokyo hotel in Tokyo, whose design is inspired by bookstores. But on December 2, another book institution will open in Kyoto — a hostel where you can spend the night on a bookshelf.
Just like in Tokyo, at Book And Bed Kyoto, guests will be able to sleep in capsules built into bookshelves. Visitors can choose a book from five thousand editions in Japanese and English and have a great time with a fascinating story. Prices start at $39 per night, but for a lover of reading alone, there is no better place to relax.
