She wanted to be picked up by a man who was not only cute, kind and intelligent, but also well-off. The lady gave the agency several million, until she realized that she was simply deceived. Later it turned out that the club was not only leading her by the nose.
The Moscow dating club, which lured money from single women, has repeatedly come to the attention of the media. The method of withdrawing money from clients was simple, but very effective and it was not easy to find fault with it from the point of view of the law.
Women registered on the service's website and met men there. A correspondence was started, which, however, was short-lived. Soon they called from the dating club and offered to come to the office to confirm their identity and meet the groom. But when they arrived at the office, which was located in a mansion at the Kitay-Gorod metro station, the women learned that their chosen one changed his mind at the last moment and did not show up for the meeting.
The managers of the company convinced the guest that there is nothing wrong with this, since they have many other worthy men. But these are already VIP clients and to get the opportunity to get acquainted with them, you need to go through a number of procedures. Women were offered to take a consultation with a psychologist, courses to improve self-esteem and make a portfolio with professional pictures. Of course, all these were paid services.
The heroine of our story, Tatiana, turned to the dating club in 2019. After talking with a psychologist and learning about serious problems with her self-esteem, the woman went to 10 group trainings, followed by 10 more individual consultations.
In order for the client not to lose interest in the club, classes were alternated with acquaintances with men. For all the time, Tatiana was shown three grooms – all as a selection of handsome men, but, alas, not rich. They were dancers and drivers of directors of large companies. Of course, this option did not suit the woman, because she was looking for an acquaintance not with a stripper and not with a driver, but with a millionaire.
The victim was professionally persuaded to pass the "selection of candidates taking into account the psychological portrait and compatibility", of course, for a fee. After that, she was again shown two candidates and again not the right ones. After listening to the words of Tatiana's indignation, the dating service offered to perform an individual selection of the groom for an additional fee, and she agreed.
And again a failure, after which the capricious client was sent to a psychologist, "to solve problems". Of course, the psychologist was from the staff of the matchmaker company and his services cost money. So fun and fussy Tatiana spent a year and a half, after which she suspected something. She offered the company to disperse peacefully and return her money, and at that time it was 2.5 million rubles.
It is quite clear that she heard a refusal. The company claims that it works in the legal field and cannot be responsible for clients with psychological problems. According to the managers of the dating service, she was offered candidates many times, but she rejected them all. Tatiana went to court and won the case. Now the dating service must return 2.5 million rubles to her, pay a penalty – half a million rubles and also pay a fine of 1.5 million rubles to the state.
This time everything ended well, but very often scammers evade responsibility. It is incredibly difficult to punish the fraudsters and return the money if the "divorce" occurred on the Internet.
