A journey through the most fragrant region of France

Provence — Alpes — Cote d'Azur has the glory of the most fragrant region of France. This is the land of millions of flowers and vineyards. It is in Provence that 80% of all lavender used in the world is grown. Oils, soaps, perfumes, cosmetics and much more are produced from it.

Lavender fields, which bloom only one month a year, attract artists, photographers and ordinary tourists from all over the world. Another symbol of the region is the legendary bouillabaisse soup. Every guest must necessarily taste this dish. In an expensive restaurant, the cost of a dish varies from € 200 to €400 per serving, in a regular cafe — about € 40. It is worth noting that initially bouillabaisse was a dish of poor fishermen, but today expensive varieties of fish are used to make soup.
